About the position

The Accounts Payable/Payroll Specialist role at Robert Half is a temporary position focused on managing the company's accounts payable and payroll functions during a leave of absence. This critical role involves precise handling of invoices, payroll processing, and ensuring timely payments to employees and vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Management of accounts payable using Sage software: receive, code and process invoices with high precision.
  • Auditing and double-checking of invoices to ensure accurate charging.
  • Weekly check runs to ensure timely and accurate payments.
  • Process payroll biweekly for all employees in Nevada and California.
  • Daily mail collection.
  • Coding and entry of invoices into Sage.
  • Issuing of checks.

Requirements

  • Experience in accounts payable, payroll processing, and general accounting.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Sage software for accounts payable and Paycom for payroll processing.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills for liaising with field staff and management.
  • Experience in multi-location payroll will be an added advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting highly preferred.
