About the position

The Accounts Payable/Payroll Specialist at Epworth Children's Home is responsible for coordinating record keeping in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This role involves cash management support, accounts payable, payroll, and other functions related to the operations of the Business Office, under the supervision of the VP for Finance.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate record keeping in accordance with GAAP.
  • Manage cash management support activities.
  • Handle accounts payable processes.
  • Oversee payroll functions.
  • Assist with other operations related to the Business Office.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience in all business office operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with software programs necessary for administration and payroll, such as Blackbaud.
  • Ability to pass standard background checks.

Nice-to-haves
