About the position

The Accounts Payable, Receivable and Business Process Quality Analyst I at Daimler Truck North America plays a crucial role in the Finance Operations group. This position is responsible for managing vendor inquiries, handling invoice errors, and ensuring compliance with financial operational rules. The analyst will also create key performance indicators and support continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the finance operations team.

Responsibilities

• Field vendor and internal inquiries related to invoice submission and payments.
• Reconcile vendor accounts and communicate resolutions to vendors and internal departments.
• Handle Help Desk escalations from the off-shore team and resolve open items promptly.
• Document and update processes as needed, including cbFC Error Handling.
• Create key performance indicators (KPIs) and execute related action items for improvement.
• Provide internal control evidence over Accounts Payable processes and monitor accounts and interfaces.
• Support relevant finance operational policies and procedures and participate in optimizing current processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred, or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree required.
• Continuous improvement skills and project management experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of the procure-to-pay business cycle and related accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.

Nice-to-haves

• 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Finance experience preferred.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
