Milford Subaru is currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk. This full-time position is essential for maintaining the financial integrity of the dealership by ensuring that all accounts payable and receivable processes are executed accurately and efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for checking purchase orders and obtaining the necessary approvals, preparing accounts payable checks, and reconciling statements with the ledger to ensure that payments align with dealership schedules. In addition to these core responsibilities, the Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk will maintain all state and federal required forms from vendors, such as W-9s and Retail Certificates. The role also involves monitoring sales tax paid and assessing use tax on general purchases and expenditures. The clerk will assist with accounts receivable tasks and special projects as needed, along with miscellaneous administrative tasks assigned by the Office Manager. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who is dependable and possesses basic general accounting knowledge, particularly an understanding of debits and credits.
