About the position

Our company is searching for an Accounts Payable/Receivables Specialist. This position requires teamwork and a positive attitude. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong organizational and communication skills. Prior experience in the trucking and logistics industry is preferred but not necessary. This is a full-time position with a compensation range of $18-$23 per hour, depending on experience. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, and employees will receive weekly pay along with benefits and 401K options, including paid vacations and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, verify, process, and record customer payments and transactions
• Create and submit invoices
• Maintain accurate and updated files for customers via QuickBooks
• Identify delinquent accounts and payments
• Communicate with customers regarding past-due accounts and collections
• Research any discrepancies
• Create reports and balance sheets

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal skills
• Customer-service oriented
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Experience in fast-paced environment
• Previous billing experience required

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in QuickBooks (1 year preferred)
• Experience in Microsoft Excel (1 year preferred)
• Experience in accounts payable/receivable (1 year preferred)
