The Accounts Payable Reconciliation Specialist at Siemens Mobility Inc. plays a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries and resolving invoice discrepancies. This position involves collaboration with various departments to support production demands and maintain compliance with company guidelines and purchasing policies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct reconciliation and research on past due invoices.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Contact suppliers to address price, delivery, and invoice issues.
• Communicate with various departments to resolve receiving issues.
• Ensure compliance with company guidelines, purchasing policies, and procedures.
• Escalate the approval process for urgent order placements.
• Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
• Analyze purchase requisitions for accuracy and completeness.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years in procurement or Accounts Payable.
• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in MRP tools like SAP and strong MS Excel skills; familiarity with MS Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong understanding of procurement, inventory control, and process control; results-oriented with the ability to meet project deadlines.
• Analytical and numerically astute with proven problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.
• Ability to lead others in solving complex problems using sophisticated analytical thinking.
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy; experience with ISO 9000, TS16949, and AS9100 is a plus.
• Tenacious and assertive, capable of escalating issues within supplier organizations and internally; ability to understand, evaluate, and monitor supplier capacity.
