About the position

The Accounts Payable Specialist/Office Clerk at Ace Imagewear is responsible for performing various clerical tasks in accordance with established office procedures. This role involves managing accounts payable and receivable, data entry, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The position requires effective communication with both internal and external customers and collaboration with various departments to ensure timely processing of financial transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
  • Conduct data entry and maintain filing systems.
  • Calculate sales commissions and reconcile driver turn-ins.
  • Scan documents and manage office supplies.
  • Direct incoming calls and handle outgoing mail.
  • Compile and present financial reports to management and customers.
  • Review data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure timely processing of vendor invoices and collections.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3 years of customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and typing skills (30 WPM).
  • Experience with QuickBooks and payroll processing.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with industry-related software like Alliant.
