About the position

The Accounts Payable Specialist at Hollandia Dairy is responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices, and maintaining financial records. This entry-level position involves reviewing invoices, generating purchase orders, and reconciling accounts payable transactions, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and GL coding invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment.
• Generate purchase orders when necessary.
• Perform 3-way match of invoices to purchase orders and receipts to verify their accuracy.
• Conduct invoice and general-ledger data entry.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and vendor statements.
• Process expense reports in Concur.
• Prepare weekly aging reports for management review and obtain approval for payment.
• Scan documents into folders.
• Cover front desk as a backup and answer phone calls.
• Assist other team members as needed.
• Maintain prompt and regular attendance.

Requirements

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Entry-level position with one to three months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
