About the position
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining compliance with company policies and accounting standards. This role involves collaboration with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve efficiency in financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Accurately key invoices into Oracle, ensuring all data is entered correctly and promptly.
- Verify that all invoices match corresponding purchase orders, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Communicate with vendors to address any invoice-related issues or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of accounts payable reports and provide support during audits.
- Work closely with the procurement and finance teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
