About the position
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process within a global firm known for its innovative and sustainable design solutions. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in accounts payable or receivable, who can contribute to the overall business performance through quality work and organization.
Responsibilities
- Enter and report daily cash received via lockbox, ACH/wires, and live checks.
- Review the AR aging report weekly to reconcile payment balances.
- Review and reconcile Open AP Vouchers.
- Examine vendor invoices for variances in quantities and rates.
- Manage weekly and monthly processing of statements and payments.
- Process POs, ensuring all company policy and procedures are followed.
- Assist in providing information to external auditors.
Requirements
- At least 2-5 years of relevant accounts payable and/or accounts receivable experience.
- Experience with Journal Entries/GL.
- Proficient in Excel software preferred.
