The Accounts Payable Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Controller and the Financial Services department in achieving the department's responsibilities and the overall goals of the organization. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of accounts payable, ensuring that financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for a variety of routine tasks, including reviewing invoices submitted for payment, performing check runs, coordinating check signatures and distributions, managing credit card and expense reporting processes, and executing assigned month-end closing duties. The role also involves providing support for the annual 1099 reporting process and managing the organization's corporate credit card processes.
