About the position
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing invoices accurately and timely using a 3-way match system. This role involves entering data to ensure on-time payments to suppliers, researching discrepancies, and maintaining a high level of productivity while providing exceptional customer service. The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Process invoices manually and electronically using a 3-way match system.
- Enter data accurately to achieve timely payments to suppliers.
- Research and correct invoice and payment discrepancies.
- Take appropriate discounts and meet payment terms.
- Resolve issues through communication with internal departments and suppliers.
- Maintain a high level of productivity and strive to meet KPIs.
- Provide excellent customer service to suppliers and internal departments.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in accounts payable.
- 2 years of experience in invoicing.
- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Ability to perform mathematical computations accurately.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
