About the position

The Accounts Receivable Accountant position at Robert Half is a short-term contract role based in Rancho Cucamonga, California. This role focuses on various accounting functions, particularly in processing receivables and managing billing collections, while utilizing Lacerte Tax Software to enhance efficiency in accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Process and record transactions related to accounts receivable.
• Manage billing and collection tasks effectively and efficiently.
• Use Lacerte Tax Software to streamline accounting processes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer accounts.
• Respond to and resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts.
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action based on account status.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure all accounting tasks are completed accurately.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of systems for increasing the department's efficiency.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports.
• Adhere to all company policies and industry regulations.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Receivables processing
• Experience with Billing Collection
• Knowledge of Lacerte Tax Software
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
• Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Accountant or similar role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Excellent data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant accounting software.
