The Accounts Receivable Administrator is a vital role within Bunn-O-Matic Corporation, responsible for managing the day-to-day credit operations of customer accounts. This position involves maintaining detailed records of accounts receivable and overseeing collection matters. The administrator will communicate account information to various stakeholders, including customers, sales managers, and the Director of Credit and Collections. The role requires a proactive approach to ensure that customer accounts are managed effectively and that any issues are resolved promptly. In this position, the Accounts Receivable Administrator will review and approve orders for shipment based on the customer's accounts receivable status. They will maintain accurate records for both commercial and international customers, ensuring that all account activities are documented and communicated effectively. Daily communication with internal and external customers at all levels is essential to provide updates on account status and to address any inquiries or concerns. The administrator will also be responsible for setting up new customer account records and working patiently with customers to resolve any paperwork or payment issues. Regular reviews of past due accounts will be conducted in collaboration with the Director of Credit & Collections and sales managers. The role includes preparing correspondence for delinquent accounts that require special handling and reviewing accounts that may need to be recommended for write-off. Additionally, the Accounts Receivable Administrator will participate in quality improvement and lean processes within the company, handle multiple assignments, and take on special projects as requested. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with team members across the organization.
