About the position

The Accounts Receivable Analyst position at Robert Half is a contract-to-hire role focused on managing financial operations related to accounts receivables. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing financial transactions, preparing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial policies. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting software and systems, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the processing of accounts and incoming payments in adherence with financial policies and procedures.
  • Execute daily financial transactions such as verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables' data.
  • Prepare and process bills, invoices, and bank deposits.
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies, including clients' billing issues.
  • Facilitate the payment of due invoices by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
  • Generate comprehensive financial statements and reports detailing the status of accounts receivable.
  • Monitor customer accounts and undertake necessary actions.
  • Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications.
  • Maintain precise customer credit records.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in an Accounts Receivable role
  • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services
  • Familiarity with CRM and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems
  • Knowledge of SAP is a must
  • Experience with Accounting Functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Ability to handle Billing Functions and Cash Activity
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
