About the position

Our client, a leading company in Bakersfield, CA, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) Analyst to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, and handling collections. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the financial health and cash flow of the organization. The Accounts Receivable Analyst will monitor and manage customer accounts, including invoicing, payments, and collections. They will reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted, investigate and resolve discrepancies in billing or payments in a timely manner, and collaborate with internal departments to ensure customer payments align with terms and conditions. Additionally, the analyst will prepare and present regular reports on AR aging and performance to management and assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.

Responsibilities
