About the position

The Accounts Receivable and Billing Specialist will be responsible for managing the billing and accounts receivable processes for an innovative entertainment and media marketing company. This role requires strong communication skills and a solid understanding of AR and billing processes, ensuring accurate invoicing and payment management for various subsidiaries of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and sending monthly billings by creating and sending invoices for different subsidiaries.
• Creating sales orders based on executed agreements.
• Receiving and organizing incoming payments, performing verification of credibility.
• Managing the accounts receivable database, adding new accounts or missed payments.
• Reconciling all payments not received with invoice reference detail.
• Performing monthly customer accounts receivable, revenue, and cash reconciliations, including action plans for resolution.
• Daily application of payments received for all subsidiaries of the company.
• Preparing and sending customer statements or any requested information timely.
• Ensuring client records are complete and accurate.

Requirements

• 3+ years' experience in billing and accounts receivable.
• Professional and courteous telephone and email communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team efficiently to process emails and requests of subsidiaries and co-workers.
• Customer service orientation and negotiation skills.
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts receivable and revenue principles.
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
• Experience with Netsuite preferred (not required).
• Proficiency in English and in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
