Join our team as an Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Specialist at American Stone! This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with numbers and thrive in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for managing accounts receivable efficiently, tracking outstanding balances, and collaborating with team members to ensure smooth financial processes. The position offers flexibility in scheduling, allowing for part-time or full-time work, with a focus on A/R for part-time employees and potential A/P functions for full-time employees.

Responsibilities

• Track and reduce outstanding balances in accounts receivable.
• Set and achieve collection goals.
• Send pre-lien notices and manage bank reconciliations.
• Assist with payroll and inter-company billing as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes.

Requirements

• Experience with accounting software (Odoo, Peachtree, Excel, etc.).
• Experience with pre-liens or assisting a lawyer with taking defaulters to court.
• Degree in accounting or relevant experience with a strong pre-interview assessment.
• Experience working with a company attorney or paralegal experience.
