Cheney Brothers is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Assistant Manager to join our accounting team in Riviera Beach, FL. This full-time position is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts receivable processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for distributing and monitoring the workload of team members, aiding in the resolution of escalated issues from internal departments, and accurately researching and tracing accounts receivable payments. The role requires a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and departmental goals, as well as the ability to exercise discretion in handling sensitive financial information. In this position, you will be tasked with reconciling larger and 'in-house' accounts, monitoring, uploading, and running monthly aging reports, and identifying and assigning research projects to team members. You will also validate and post customer payments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions. A minimum of two years of accounting experience is required, along with excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office products. Proficiency in 10-key typing is essential, and experience with SAP is preferred. We are looking for individuals who possess a 'make it happen' attitude, take pride in their work, and demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support the team and the overall goals of the department.
