About the position

The Accounts Receivable Assistant at Paradigm is a long-term temporary role focused on supporting the MSK Care Management team, which provides value-based solutions for musculoskeletal injuries. The position involves various accounting tasks such as invoice preparation, data entry, transaction verification, and maintaining records, while collaborating with departments like Sales and Customer Service. The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and effective communication.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare invoices and perform data entry into the accounting system.
  • Verify transactions and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate with customers regarding accounts receivable inquiries.
  • Provide general accounts receivable support in collaboration with Sales and Customer Service departments.

Requirements

  • Experience with medical billing, including understanding reasons for denial and fee schedules.
  • Familiarity with using a CMS/HCFA-1500 template.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional communication skills and a commitment to teamwork.
