About the position

The Accounts Receivable (AR) Assistant at Paradigm will support the MSK Care Management team, focusing on value-based solutions for musculoskeletal injuries. This long-term temporary position involves various accounting tasks, including invoice preparation, data entry, transaction verification, and maintaining records, while collaborating with departments such as Sales and Customer Service.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare invoices and perform data entry into the accounting system.
  • Verify transactions and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate with customers regarding accounts receivable inquiries.
  • Provide general AR support in collaboration with Sales and Customer Service departments.

Requirements

  • Experience with medical billing, including understanding reasons for denial and fee schedules.
  • Familiarity with using a CMS/HCFA-1500 template.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional communication skills and a commitment to teamwork.
