The Accounts Receivable Associate (Royalties and Advertising Sales) plays a key role in supporting the NFL in royalty and advertising sales reporting, oversight, and maintenance. This position will assist with accounts receivable related questions and concerns while ensuring that company policies and audit procedures are being followed. The associate will communicate and collaborate within finance and all other departments across the league to record and process various transactions, as well as provide reports and findings. This position is for a fixed 6-month assignment, emphasizing the importance of accuracy and timeliness in handling financial data related to royalties and advertising sales. In this role, the associate will be responsible for reviewing and processing licensee statements for royalty reporting, ensuring that all actions are taken in a timely manner. They will also handle maintenance requests of the royalty reporting system and review aging reports for outstanding royalty invoices. Validation of the integrity of royalty reports to the ERP system is crucial, as is preparing royalty cash forecasts for the Treasury department. The associate will review royalty relationships to ensure adherence to important benchmarks and timelines, and will be tasked with reviewing contracts and agreements to ensure compliance with terms and conditions in all calculations. Additionally, the associate will correspond with licensees and NFL Licensing teams to resolve any royalty discrepancies and will be involved in various non-routine assignments and ad-hoc reports related to royalty activities. Generating and sending invoices for Ad Sales customers, performing maintenance requests in the Ad Sales system, and being an active part of the Cash Management team are also key responsibilities of this position.
