About the position

The Accounts Receivable Associate II is responsible for managing credit applications and collections in compliance with the Equal Credit Opportunity Act and company policies. This role involves communication with customers and internal departments to ensure accurate account management and timely collections.

Responsibilities

• Answers incoming calls and emails from customers, stores, and other company departments.
• Processes new credit and cash applications, completes credit references, and updates customer accounts.
• Prepares, mails, and tracks preliminary notices to Project Parties.
• Contacts customers with overdue accounts and maintains collection activity in company software program.
• Assists Payment Specialist during peak payment periods.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A.A. degree in business-related major required.
• 2-5 years of job-related experience required.
• 2-3 years' experience in accounting or accounts receivable function required.
• Familiarity with accounting software programs required.
• Excellent communication, written, and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with construction receivables preferred.
• Comfortable with learning various software programs.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
