About the position

The Accounts Receivable Associate at Johnson Health Tech Trading Inc. is responsible for managing daily accounts receivable postings for various retail and commercial customers. This role involves administering credit and collections functions under the supervision of the Accounting Manager, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The position is non-supervisory and focuses on maintaining accurate financial records and customer relations.

Responsibilities

• Review customer orders for credit approval.
• Clear payments with invoices on customer accounts daily, including posting checks, processing credit cards, ACH funding, and third-party financing.
• Perform collection calls to customers to keep accounts receivable balances current.
• Assist in resolving credit card disputes.
• Provide required sales and payment clearing reports to the sales team and customers.
• Generate Accounts Receivable Aging reports for the Accounting Manager and Controller.
• Establish and work towards achieving personal and departmental KPIs.
• Complete other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related area highly preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable with credit and collections.
• Experience with SAP and POS software is preferred.
• Strong data entry skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook, with intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and Power BI.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.
• Adherence to all work process deadlines.
