Our team is looking for an Account Receivable Associate to join them. You will report to the Controller and will have an onsite work structure in Creedmoor, NC. To be considered for the Account Receivable Associate opening, here's what you'll need to bring with you: Associates Degree in Accounting, two years of accounting experience, proficient MS Office skills (Excel, Word, etc.), high attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work, and solid analytical thinking skills with creative, resourceful problem-solving competencies.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors customer accounts receivable balances on a regular basis to ensure accounts are current; contacts customers to collect on past due accounts.
  • Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
  • Processes customer credit applications.
  • Investigates and resolves issues as they relate to any billing discrepancies.
  • Assists with Fixed Assets Capital Expenditure Reporting.
  • Assists with Daily/Monthly Cash Reconciliation and Reporting.
  • Assists with General Ledger Journal Entries.
  • Role is able to adjust to changing priorities within the department, within both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes.
  • Available to assist the department with ad hoc projects.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Accounting
  • Two (2) years accounting experience
  • Proficient MS Office skills (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • High attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Solid analytical thinking skills and creative, resourceful problem-solving competencies.
