About the position

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in the manufacturing industry. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity where you will be responsible for processing invoices, maintaining customer accounts, and handling discrepancies. You will utilize various systems to ensure smooth operations and contribute to the efficiency of the accounts receivable process.

Responsibilities

• Processing large volumes of customer invoices efficiently and accurately
• Handling discrepancies by liaising with vendors or clients as necessary
• Maintaining accurate records of customer credit applications and account details
• Utilizing different systems for diverse tasks including direct store delivery
• Leveraging proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly Vlookups, for various tasks
• Gaining familiarity with Navision, specifically the Just Foods version and Mobile Conductor software
• Ensuring accurate and timely posting of invoices, primarily four days a week
• Utilizing skills in Accounts Receivable, Billing, and Account Reconciliation for efficient operations
• Leveraging skills in Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various tasks
• Ensuring customer inquiries are resolved in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements

• Proficiency in using software applications such as Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, Oracle, and SAP
• Demonstrated experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with the process of Account Reconciliation
• Ability to effectively manage Billing processes and procedures
• Experience with Cash Applications and Cash Collections
• Knowledge of Commercial Collections processes
• Ability to enter invoices accurately and efficiently
• Experience in the Manufacturing industry would be advantageous
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
