About the position

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Richmond, Virginia. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for efficiently and accurately processing customer credit applications, handling a high volume of cash and credit card payments, and utilizing Microsoft Excel for data entry and account management tasks. Exceptional customer service is a key component of this role, as the clerk will be resolving inquiries and concerns from customers. Additionally, the clerk will ensure account reconciliation by regularly monitoring and updating customer accounts, answering phone calls from customers seeking account information or to make a payment, and maintaining accurate records of customer credit information. The role requires taking appropriate action as needed for account monitoring and working collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient operation.
