About the position

The Accounts Receivable Clerk will support the accounting team by managing various accounts receivable tasks, including processing invoices, posting payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role is ideal for an organized and detail-oriented individual who is eager to learn and work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer invoices and ensure timely distribution
  • Post customer payments accurately into the system
  • Assist with reconciling accounts receivable balances
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices and payment status
  • Maintain and update customer account information
  • Support the AR team with administrative duties as needed

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting (or relevant internship experience)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar programs
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with high-volume invoicing
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles
