About the position

Responsibilities

• Handle the processing of cash applications to ensure accurate account management
• Provide top-notch customer service to address and resolve customer inquiries
• Utilize MS Excel to create and maintain spreadsheets for data tracking and reporting
• Oversee the posting system for accounts receivable
• Monitor and manage customer accounts, taking necessary action where required
• Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
• Maintain meticulous records of customer credit information
• Collaborate with other team members to maintain smooth operation of accounts receivable tasks
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards within the non-profit sector.

Requirements

• Must have a strong understanding and experience with Cash Applications
• Excellent customer service skills are necessary
• Proficiency in using MS Excel is required
• Prior experience in Accounts Receivable or similar roles in the Non-Profit sector is desirable
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment is crucial
• A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices is required
• Experience with accounting software would be an added advantage.
