About the position

We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Clerk to become a part of our team located in MANSFIELD, Texas. This role is critical in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of customer accounts, including applications and inquiries, within our industry. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will also be tasked with maintaining detailed records and taking appropriate action as necessary. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Accounts Receivable processes and will be responsible for efficiently processing customer credit applications, keeping customer credit records up-to-date, and handling customer inquiries with effective solutions. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage billing processes, cash applications, and collections effectively while utilizing accounting software such as Sage 100 and Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze data.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently process customer credit applications to ensure accuracy
  • Keep customer credit records up-to-date and accurate
  • Handle customer inquiries, providing timely and effective solutions
  • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze data
  • Handle billing processes and ensure all bills are sent out in a timely manner
  • Manage Cash Applications and Cash Collections effectively
  • Utilize Sage 100 software for various accounting tasks
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes and procedures
  • Handle Commercial Collections, ensuring all collections are done in a timely and effective manner.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) management.
  • Experience in Billing procedures.
  • Knowledge of Cash Applications processes.
  • Expertise in Cash Collections.
  • Familiarity with Commercial Collections.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Sage 100 accounting software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
