We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve any billing discrepancies. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities will include generating and sending out invoices to customers, reconciling customer accounts, and resolving any billing discrepancies. The candidate will monitor accounts to ensure timely payments and follow up on overdue accounts. Collaboration with sales and customer service teams to address customer inquiries and concerns is essential. The role also involves processing credit card payments, performing payment allocations, preparing and analyzing accounts receivable reports, and assisting in month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable. Maintaining accurate customer records and updating information as needed is crucial, as is working closely with internal and external auditors during financial audits. The candidate will stay abreast of current factory incentives and code deliveries on the dealership computer system accordingly. Additionally, the role includes administering a charge-back program for late charges to inventory, managing the payoff of vehicle floor plans, and compiling information and preparing reports as requested by management and/or the dealer principal. Administrative support to executives and management may also be required as needed.
