About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely reconciliation of accounts. This role requires strong analytical skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service while working with various accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Process and record incoming payments accurately and efficiently.
• Perform account reconciliation to ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
• Analyze customer accounts to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely collections.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries related to payment issues.
• Various other office duties.

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounts receivable or a related financial services role is preferred.
• Experience with account reconciliation is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients and team members effectively.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
