About the position

We are welcoming an Accounting Specialist to join our accounting team within a growing profitable manufacturing company, based in Niles, Illinois. In this role, you will be involved in handling interactions with our staff regarding payroll and collections, managing cash applications, and possibly accounts payable entries while ensuring accurate records and addressing customer inquiries. You will also be responsible for monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Associate's degree is a plus.
