About the position

We are on the hunt for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in the non-profit sector located in Seattle, Washington. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications. You will maintain detailed and accurate customer credit records, create invoices, and become proficient in the computerized accounting system. You will also handle tasks related to Account Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Cash Applications, Cash Collections, and Commercial Collections. Moreover, it is important to maintain an understanding of the non-profit industry's accounting practices and apply them in your daily work. You will offer assistance in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the department's programs and services, ensuring that we meet our financial goals while supporting our mission in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications

Requirements

  • Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) operations
  • Knowledgeable in Billing procedures
  • Familiarity with Cash Applications
  • Experience in Cash Collections
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
