About the position

The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for managing invoicing and collections to maintain positive cash flow for the organization. This role involves ensuring clients adhere to credit terms, addressing inquiries, and contributing to an organized accounts receivable process.

Responsibilities

  • Process accounts receivable transactions.
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger.
  • Maintain records of invoices, payments, and discrepancies.
  • Communicate with clients about billing discrepancies and questions.
  • Prepare and present reports of account status.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable clerk.
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Proficient in MS Office and relevant accounting software.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • High school diploma; further education in Finance or Business will be a plus.
