Responsibilities

  • Efficiently process customer credit applications ensuring accuracy
  • Maintain and update customer credit records
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve them in a timely manner
  • Monitor customer accounts and perform necessary actions as required
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team and managing director for necessary shipping and invoice information
  • Analyze and correct any invoice discrepancies
  • Ensure accurate application of cash and correct misapplied cash where necessary
  • Liaise with customers for remittances when they make payments
  • Use Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis
  • Utilize NetSuite for various tasks and operations
  • Conduct research to understand debits versus credits in Accounts Receivable
  • Handle a high volume of invoices and collections

Requirements

  • Possess a minimum of 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable or similar role within the healthcare, hospitals, or social assistance industries
  • Proficient in account reconciliation and cash applications
  • Demonstrable experience with accounts receivable (AR) is necessary
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required for data processing and analysis
  • Experience with NetSuite for managing financial and accounting functions is essential
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in dealing with sensitive information
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies or inaccuracies in financial data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently, show initiative, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
