In this position, the Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for processing daily cash receipt payments and posting them to customer accounts. The clerk will also handle online invoicing for designated customers, process weekly and monthly billing statements, and respond to customer inquiries regarding billing and invoices. Additionally, the clerk will audit accounts receivable, contact customers for past due invoices, and take phone orders as needed. Other duties may be assigned as required by the business. The role involves various physical demands, including regular sitting, data entry, and the ability to lift and move items up to 25 pounds. The employee will also need to have specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Responsibilities

  • Process daily cash receipt payments to post to customer accounts.
  • Post payments received to customer accounts.
  • Process online invoicing to designated customers.
  • Process weekly and monthly billing statements.
  • Respond to customers regarding questions/issues on billing and invoices.
  • Audit accounts receivable and contact customers for past due invoices.
  • Take phone orders as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1 or more years of experience in an accounting position.
