About the position

The Accounts Receivable Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the accounts receivable team by managing workload assignments, troubleshooting technical issues, handling customer escalations, and providing training. This position is focused on continuous improvement and maintaining process documentation to enhance team efficiency and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Creates reporting and workload documents for team assignments (PeopleSoft, ServiceNow, etc.)
  • Manages payment application processes including customer outreach, level 2+ research requests, account maintenance, and other accounting and administrative tasks
  • Documents processes and trains new team members
  • Documents errors and provides remedial training for existing team members
  • Conducts quality assurance, including auditing sample data and making training or continuous improvement recommendations
  • Prioritizes customer service for both internal and external customers (Support Inquiry/Research Specialists)

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable
  • Experience leading a team or project
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel
  • Processes documentation and training experience
  • Strong analytical and data analysis skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Customer service focused
