The Accounts Receivable Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the accounts receivable process for Sun Valley Foods. This position is responsible for overseeing the Accounts Receivable clerks and ensuring that all financial transactions related to accounts receivable are processed accurately and efficiently. The coordinator will identify and reconcile discrepancies in accounts, ensuring that all amounts applied on accounts are correct and up to date. Timely collection of payments is a key responsibility, as is maintaining accurate records and reports related to accounts receivable activities. In addition to these core responsibilities, the Accounts Receivable Coordinator will prepare Aging reports and month-end reports to provide insights into the accounts receivable status. The role also involves referring overdue accounts to the supervisor for further action, ensuring that the company maintains a healthy cash flow. The coordinator will be responsible for the daily workflow of the accounts receivable team, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely manner and that any issues are addressed promptly. Other duties may be assigned as needed, making this a dynamic role within the finance department.
