About the position

The Accounts Receivable/Credit Manager will oversee financial operations related to accounts receivable, ensuring the integrity of revenue cycle management and timely collection of outstanding accounts. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in financial services and corporate accounting, capable of analyzing data and negotiating effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the accounts receivable team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
  • Oversee the preparation and processing of invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Assess the likelihood of timely payments by analyzing credit reports, financial statements, and payment history.
  • Analyze accounts receivable aging reports to identify overdue accounts and implement strategies for collection.
  • Negotiate payment terms with clients to facilitate timely payments while maintaining positive relationships.
  • Utilize P21 software for data entry and financial reporting.
  • Create, review, and update the company's credit policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve overall revenue cycle management.
  • Monitor cash flow and prepare regular reports on accounts receivable performance for senior management.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on credit performance, including key metrics and trends.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in accounts receivable management or a similar role within financial services.
  • Experience with DUNS credit platform highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate accounting principles, revenue cycle management, and data analysis.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on building lasting client relationships.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
