About the position

As an Accounts Receivable & Credit Specialist at PCB Piezotronics, Inc., you will be responsible for managing credit, collection, and receivable duties. This role involves preparing analyses of customer accounts, coordinating with the sales team to collect delinquent receivables, and maintaining the company's ERP system. You will also assist with accounts receivable tasks such as posting payments, creating invoices, and resolving customer queries, all while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Perform credit and collection duties for customer accounts.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly analysis of aged customer receivables.
  • Analyze delinquent customer accounts and review findings with the VP of Finance.
  • Contact customers and collaborate with the Sales team to collect overdue payments.
  • Coordinate activities with Customer Service to resolve issues.
  • Prioritize credit reviews for new and existing customer accounts.
  • Administer the company credit application process, including compiling and reviewing credit packets.
  • Maintain knowledge of the company's ERP system (Syteline) related to customer receivables and credit history.
  • Assist with posting payments and creating invoices.
  • Follow up on collection and allocation of payments, making adjustments as needed.
  • Monitor customer account details for non-payment and other irregularities.
  • Process refunds and investigate customer queries.
  • Communicate with customers via phone, email, or in person.
  • Assist with interim and annual audits.
  • Communicate with banks to identify payments for foreign or electronic wire transfers.
  • Process credit card transactions and generate monthly account statements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in accounts payable/receivable.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Basic office and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Problem analysis and resolution skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SyteLine ERP system.
  • Additional training in finance or accounting.
