The Accounts Receivable & Customer Service Specialist at ZING plays a crucial role in managing customer payments and providing exceptional customer service. This position involves following up on delinquent accounts, assisting customers with billing inquiries, and ensuring a smooth account setup process. The specialist will be the first point of contact for customers regarding payments and billing, contributing to the overall success of the company's customer service operations.

Responsibilities

  • Follow up on delinquent accounts to ensure timely payment.
  • Contact customers with billing issues, including failed or delayed payments.
  • Reach out to customers who have not completed the necessary steps in their account setup.
  • Answer customer inquiries via phone and email, providing support for billing and setup-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, payment statuses, and follow-up activities.
  • Collaborate with the customer success and accounts teams to resolve issues.
  • Assist in general customer service tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, or customer service roles.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Comfortable with customer interaction, including phone and email communication.
  • Familiarity with invoicing systems and basic accounting principles is a plus.
  • Proficiency with common software tools, including Microsoft Office.
