Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the billing and collection of patient receivables for assigned facilities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in medical billing, with a focus on third-party reimbursements.
  • Familiarity with ICD-10 coding and general accounting principles.
  • Previous experience working with Medicare and Medicaid billing processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for documentation and reporting tasks.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Keane Ram computer systems is desirable.
