About the position

A Financial Services company based in Boston is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) and Billing Manager to join their team. This role is crucial for overseeing the billing processes and ensuring the efficient management of accounts receivable. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services accounting and operations, with a focus on asset management. The Accounts Receivable Manager will be responsible for supervising the monthly and quarterly billing cycles, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, and monitoring the collection of aged accounts receivable. This position requires collaboration with various internal teams to assist in the formulation of fee structures and to address any operational issues related to billing. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of the organization by ensuring that all billing processes are executed smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Supervise monthly/quarterly billing cycle.
• Monitor and collect aged accounts receivable.
• Calculate performance fees.
• Work with various internal teams to assist with the formulation of fee structures.
• Assist with all operational issues in regard to billing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years' experience in asset management or financial services accounting/operations.
• Must have supervisory experience.
• Basic accounting knowledge and ability to understand impact on financial statements.
• Knowledge of Revport and Workday software is a plus.
