About the position

The Accounts Receivable Manager will lead the accounts receivable operations across multiple branches and entities, managing a small team of AR Coordinators. This role involves overseeing invoicing, collections, and reconciliation activities while serving as the primary liaison between the AR team and branch managers. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, organizational abilities, and a commitment to efficient receivables processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of AR Coordinators.
• Supervise the invoicing process across all branches and entities.
• Oversee collection efforts and manage escalated collection issues.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for branch managers and other entities.
• Ensure regular account reconciliations are completed accurately.
• Work directly with key clients to resolve complex billing and payment issues.
• Identify and implement best practices to improve AR processes.
• Provide regular AR reports to senior management.
• Coordinate with sales, customer service, and finance teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Proficiency in accounting software, preferably QuickBooks.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
