About the position

The Accounts Receivable Manager position in Mansfield, Massachusetts, is a contract role that combines supervisory and hands-on responsibilities within the financial services sector. The successful candidate will manage customer accounts, process applications, and ensure the accuracy of financial records while leading a small team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the work of two Accounts Receivable Clerks, providing guidance and leadership as needed
• Engage in collection calls to manage outstanding accounts and improve cash flow
• Utilize various accounting software systems and CRM tools to streamline financial operations
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
• Prepare and delegate Accounts Receivable reporting tasks to team members
• Operate with Epic Software and ERP for Enterprise Resource Planning to manage financial data
• Uphold accounting functions, including billing and cash activity, to maintain financial integrity
• Regularly review and update customer credit records to ensure accuracy
• Handle cash transactions and related activities as part of daily operations
• Resolve customer inquiries related to accounts receivable, providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is preferred
• Experience with CRM is beneficial
• Knowledge of Epic Software is desirable
• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is needed
• Proven ability to handle Accounting Functions efficiently
• Strong experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential
• Capability to manage Billing Functions effectively
• Experience in overseeing Cash Activity is important
• Proficiency in Cash Handling is necessary
