The Accounts Receivable Manager manages accounts receivable and other accounting procedures, provides financial leadership, and is responsible for the development of policies, systems, analysis and reporting. The position coaches and develops the accounts receivable team. Responsibilities

  • Lead the accounts receivable team along with accounting process and systems.
  • Monitor processing of invoices, records of invoices, bills and deposits.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and negotiates with clients in non-payment cases.
  • Conduct credit checks.
  • Stay updated on industry and legislative changes.
  • Create new customers, establish credit limits and maintain sales tax exemption certificates.
  • Identify opportunities and implementing corrective and preventive action.
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations following GAAP.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of prior advanced accounting experience.
  • 1-2 years of prior leadership experience.
  • Accounting experience within distribution preferred.
  • Demonstrates proficient use of Microsoft Office and software programs.
