Johns Plumbing, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual for the part-time Accounts Receivable position. This role is essential to our growing plumbing company, which operates primarily in the commercial sector. The position offers flexible hours, allowing candidates to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, with the office open from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The successful candidate will be required to work in person at our location on the Northwest side of Chicago. As an Accounts Receivable specialist, you will be responsible for various tasks that are crucial to maintaining our financial health. Your duties will include filling out G702/G703 forms, completing waivers, invoicing clients, and following up with customers who have outstanding payments. Additionally, you will need to keep track of incoming payments to ensure accurate financial records. This position requires someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently. We are looking for a candidate who possesses strong typing skills, is proficient in Microsoft Outlook, and has a solid understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel. Exceptional organizational skills are a must, as you will be handling various financial documents and customer communications. A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential traits for this role. Previous experience in the plumbing or construction industry is a plus, but not mandatory.
