About the position

The Accounts Receivable Project Setup Specialist at Booz Allen is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient operations within the Accounts Receivable team. This role involves administrative, processing, and auditing responsibilities, including the setup and maintenance of contracts in the Costpoint accounting system, SOX auditing assistance, project analysis, and document retention. The specialist will interface with internal and external customers to understand needs and improve Business Services performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform setup and maintenance of contracts in compliance with contractual terms in the Costpoint accounting system.
• Support multiple program tasks simultaneously while prioritizing efforts to meet service levels.
• Reconcile contract modifications against Costpoint records.
• Participate in contract kick-off meetings.
• Collaborate with Contract Administrators, Project Control, and Program Managers to resolve setup challenges.
• Assist external and internal audit teams by gathering necessary documents.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience with government contracting.
• Experience using the Deltek Costpoint project module for project setup.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment with high professional standards.
• Strong follow-up skills and successful project execution capabilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• High school diploma or GED.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience using V-lookup and Pivot Table functions in Excel.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
