About the position

The Accounts Receivable Representative at Stauffer Glove & Safety is responsible for managing collections and ensuring timely payments from customers. This role requires effective communication and problem-solving skills, as the representative will interact with both customers and internal teams to resolve past due balances and maintain customer relations. Responsibilities

• Manage collections and contact customers for payment of past due receivables.
• Log comments to track payment timelines and follow up on missed dates.
• Process RMAs and credits as needed.
• Post checks and wire transfers accurately.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in accounts.
• Provide backup support to team members when necessary.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a fast-paced business environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Nice-to-haves

• Minimum of 2 years experience in the credit/collections field.
• Experience with processing receivables.
